Josef Dieter "Sepp" Maier (born 28 February 1944) is a German former professional football goalkeeper. His nickname was "Die Katze von Anzing" ("the cat from Anzing") due to his incredible reflexes.
In the 1974 FIFA World Cup on home soil, at the top of his footballing abilities, he reached the peak of his international career as the Germans went all the way to the final with a legendary team that included the likes of Franz Beckenbauer, Berti Vogts and Gerd Müller.

Leningrad Cowboys Go Mexico - Trailer No. One

The Leningrad Cowboys is a Finnish rock band famous for its humorous songs, ludicrous hairstyles and concerts featuring the Russian military band Alexandrov ensemble.
The band was an invention of the Finnish film director Aki Kaurismäki for the feature film "Leningrad Cowboys Go America" (1989). The fictional band, however, was made up of Sakke Järvenpää and Mato Valtonen, members of a real Finnish band the Sleepy Sleepers with some additional musicians.
After the film, the band took on a life of its own, recording music, making videos and giving concerts. The band appeared in two other Aki Kaurismäki films, the Leningrad Cowboys Meet Moses (1994) and the Total Balalaika Show (1994), which is a film of a concert performed by the band and the full 160-member Alexandrov ensemble in Helsinki, Finland in June 1993.
In 2009 the Leningrad Cowboys went to Mexico to race the legendary La Carrera Panamericana Rally...

Cupcake Cannon

The Johnny Cupcakes Suitcase Tour stop at Kamp Grizzly was epic. Johnny brought a great crowd, his limited edition tour gear and the inspiration for Kamp's Cupcake Cannon. Portland's Kamp Grizzly developed a steam-punk style pneumatic cupcake cannon and set the stage for eating frosty delights at 120psi. The blasting buffet was documented in at 700fps coming off the Phantom HD Gold. As the evening shook down, cupcake enthusiasts continued to step in front of the cannon and camera. Some shaking in their boots, others perched in zen-like states, ALL were covered in delicious frosting, spongy cake, and showered in a mist of sprinkles.

Seit 1999 kreiert er mit seinem Designstudio “Pixeleye Interactive” individuelle, hochklassige Lösungen für internationale Kunden. Dirk fotografiert mit Vorliebe “Kool Lifestyle”: Amerikanische Automobile der 30er bis 70er Jahre, klassische Pin-Ups voller Glamour, Rockstars und außergewöhnliche Menschen mit Attitude. Dirk fotografiert weltweit für internationale Publikationen und Marken und hatte sogar schon Vorzeige-Rocker Jesse James und die Leningrad Cowboys vor der Linse!!!

Rammstein: Neues Video "Haifisch"

“Haifisch” ist die dritte Single des Rammstein Albums “Liebe ist für Alle da”. Das Lied lehrt uns, dass dieser nicht nur Zähne hat, nein der Haifisch hat auch Tränen. Aber weil er im Wasser lebt, sieht man das nicht. Schade. Ist der Knorpelfisch doch eines der ältesten, unverstandenen Wesen unserer Welt. Etwas mehr Sympathie könnte ihm nicht schaden!
Für das Video zu “Haifisch” arbeiteten RAMMSTEIN erneut mit Joern Heitmann zusammen. Das Ergebnis feiert am Freitag dem 23.04.2010 um 18:00 Uhr auf http://www.myspace.com/rammstein Premiere. Die Single erscheint Mitte Mai
