Flake & Flames: Final Funding Campaign Kick Off

Many sincere thank you’s to everybody who helped make the first day of the funding campaign something to remember.

We love all the comments and cheering that we are getting.

Here’s a couple that stood out:

“DO THIS … OR IM GONNA POOP IN YOUR HALLOWEEN CANDY BAG… HA HA” – Von Franco

“COME ON PEOPLE…….SUPPORT THIS FILM….THIS IS HISTORY IN THE MAKING!!!” Doug DoRr

We are glued to the screen these days. So watching all the madness spread is great. The more comments we can get the better. Please help us keep up the steam by continuing to like, share, comment, post, blog, pin, tweet, as much as you can.

There’s a lot of great announcements in store for the next 29 days. We will do our best to create stuff worth sharing. You just give it a big fat kick in the rear to hit it out of the stadium.

We also got some great mentions on a couple of high profile blogs yesterday.

“Let’s help Flake & Flames catch that final spark to get them over the finish line!” – http://twitchfilm.com

“Support the final funding campaign for the much awaited kustom kulture documentary – Flake & Flames” – http://www.graffiti-magazine.net/?p=10996

That’s awesome. The more the better. There’s a limit to how much two man can do, so we need everyone to share on all the forums and blogs they know. Let us know where you have shared it. We are very happy to give blogs and websites some appreciation back.

Contribute an get some awesome stuff in return at http://www.indiegogo.com/flakeandflamesfinal

Flake & Flames: Final Funding Campaign Kick Off

Flake & Flames have come a long way since we started the documentary film project back in november 2010. It started as a small side project, we did just because we could. Now it has grown in to a full fledged feature length documentary, with top professional people on the payroll. The film almost grew on it’s own. It is like the story was meant to be told at this point in history. It demanded to be taken seriously. The Flake & Flames monster was not satisfied with being a side project.

Making a film on this level have been a great challenge. We have learned a lot of hard lessons on the way. The amount of stuff you have to deal with when making an actual real deal documentary, to be published around the world, is mind blowing. When enough people are involved. A seemingly insignificant thing like getting answers to emails can grow in to an extremely time consuming and tedious task. Not something we figured would seriously affect our schedule when we started out. But we are fighters, and have great family and friends to support us. Not to mention all the fantastic support we get from all of you who are looking forward to see Flake & Flames very soon.

We are almost there. Flake & Flames has become the film we always wanted, but never dared imagine. Teaming up with top professionals for post production has taken the film to a totally new level. First time we saw some rough cuts, we both got all misty eyed. Flake & Flames have become more than we dared hope for. We can not wait to show it to you.

But first we need your help. Making film on this scale cost money, a lot of money. The crowdfunding campaign we did last year, covered the cost of filming in Europe. The filming we did in United States we covered with our own savings. Thanks to our agreements with Hell Yeah Beer, and KG Film we have covered most post production and editing costs.

Now, we are almost done. Release is only a few months away. Just a couple more things that has to be finished before we can publish the film. For that we need your help, and we are proud to be able to give you some seriously bad ass stuff in return.

Check out what we got in store for you on the second and final funding campaign for Flake & Flames – The Kustom Kulture Adventure:
