Balls of Steel: Neg's Urban Sports
Balls of Steel is a Channel 4 comedy series hosted by Mark Dolan, where his special guests perform stunts, holding their nerve during hidden camera set-ups in the presence of celebrities or the British public. It was described by one TV critic as 'dire beyond words; utter drivel'.

Neg's Urban Sports is regarded as the most controversial act in Balls of Steel, mainly due to concerns that segments such as Neg's Big Stranger Rodeo promoted happy slapping. However in the second series the 'sports' are less controversial, as the people in his sketches have been set up by their friends. Traditionally the final attempt would always be his personal best and it was possible to fail if Neg could not complete his task. Channel 4 internal regulators informed the show that certain public targets must be subject to pre-checks just prior to Neg's unusual and expletive-ridden 'raids', in order to avoid shocking the elderly, pregnant women and children. Whenever he goes to a fast food outlet he will always swear with emphasis on the last item he is ordering; for example, in Urban Sprinting, when he enters Burger King he asks 'Can I have a chicken royale and some fucking diddy donuts?'
