Speed Kings Review im amerikanischen Rebel Rodz Magazine

Ein cooler Review meines Buches Speed Kings ist in einem amerikanischen Hot Rod Magazin "RebelRodz" erschienen. In Zukunft werde ich auch für dieses Magazin (für Amerika exklusiv) fotografieren und schreiben. Für die nächste Ausgabe habe ich bereits diverse Beitrage fertig gestellt, u.a. ein 6-seitiges Feature über Jay Jays Ford Pickup.
Der Review:
"Oh no, not another book!" you say. Relax, this one's different. For one thing, you don't even have to know how to read. That's right, it's all just pretty pictures. For another, the book comes to you from Germany, where they invented the motorcycle and built one of the first cars in history... all the way back in '92 - 1892, that is.
But despite this lofty heritage, gloriously resting on the names Gottlieb Daimler, Wilhelm Maybach and Karl Benz, hot rod fans in that country still venerate good old American kar values: "in the rough is just enough" says the back cover of this neat little book, and that's exactly what you're getting. With 128 pages of beautiful photos featuring everything we love about this sport - hot rods, hot racing, and hot chicks - it is the must-have coffee table book for anybody who has a coffee table or a fascimile thereof.
Dirk Behlau has been making a name (pixeleye, to be exact) for himself in recent years as one of the foremost photographers of the hot rod scene, not only in Germany, but also all over Europe. The 36-year-old professional designer and photog says he works with a broad range of topics and media for international clients and magazines, even no-budget ones like ours.
That's right, our next issue will feature a German hot rod event Dirk shot, just for us (hey, we're not above shameless self-promotion wherever we can get it).
