Mitch Lucker of Suicide Silence - R.I.P.

Frontman Mitch Lucker of the popular deathcore/heavy-metal band Suicide Silence died following a motorcycle crash at Huntington Beach, LA, USA on 31.10.2012.

I had the pleasure to shoot the band live on stage during the With full Force Festival 2012 in Germany - very intense show! I produced one of my favourite shots which became an instant classic by bands and fans. Suicide Silence used the following photo as their official Facebook header for months and also as the photo for the sad news that Mitch died. One week before he passed away his management contacted me if they could use one of my shots for his birthday cake. I feel very sorry for his little daughter, wife & family.
