These Boots tells "the Finnish history from 1952 to 1969" and begins with the birth of the main character (Mato Valtonen). This combination of a short film and a music video goes through the most important events of the main character's life: from his school years to marriage, from the daily grind of working life to the routines of farming and his father's death, ending melancholically in a scene where the main character gives up farming as it no longer provides a living. Members of Leningrad Cowboys play important supporting roles in the scenes that depict these events.

Todd Schorr (born January 9, 1954) is an American artist and one the most prominent members of the "Lowbrow" art movement or pop surrealism.
Fantastic imagery, cartoon characters, and other pop culture icons rendered with an exacting technique and colorful palette defines the style of Schorr’s artwork. His iconic work to date is “A Pirate’s Treasure Dream'', 2006, which depicts a plethora of zany phantoms and animals (such as Donald Duck, Coco the Clown, and a Worry-Bird), parading around the Los Angeles art collector Long Gone John. Von einer gigantischen Welle Testosteron getragen, ziehen Rammstein blank und präsentieren, was den Mann zum Tier macht. Und ab geht’s. Mit Vollgas auf der Autobahn der deutschen Klischees, wo mit Worten wie Bratwurst, Blitzkrieg und Mercedes-Benz dem Nahkampf zwischen den Geschlechtern gehuldigt wird – ab ins Ausland, vorbei an der Heidi mit ihren Burgern und weg vom deutschen Fräuleinwunder.
