Kugelblitz: Visual Book

"KUGELBLITZ" heisst das neue Moga Mobo anlaesslich der Ausstellung in Tokyo.
Pralle 130 werbefreie Seiten, komplett 4farbig auf gutem Papier, angefuellt mit ueber 250 unserer besten Arbeiten aus Illustration, Charakterdesign, Toydesign und Comic. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Kuenstelrgruppe NOU NOU HAU ist weitaus mehr entstanden als nur ein Ausstellungskatalog.
3 deutsche und 6 japanische Kuenstler stellen sich die Frage, ob Kreativität tatsächlich eine Kugel ist.
Ein Projket von Moga Mobo. Moga Mobo ist ein deutsches Comic-Projekt, das 1994 gegruendet wurde. Moga Mobo umfasst Comics, Illustrationen, Grafik, Skulpturen und Veranstaltungen. Das Herz des Projektes ist das Magazin Moga Mobo. Das Heft ist werbefinanziert und wird kostenlos verteilt. Groesse, Aussehen und Thema wechseln in jeder Ausgabe. Die Auflage von 20 000 liegt in Berlin und Stuttgart in Bars, Clubs, Kinos aus, sowie in Comiclaeden in Deutschland, Oesterreich und der Schweiz. Moga Mobo veroeffentlicht mittlerweile Arbeiten von bekannten Comiczeichnern aus aller Welt. Moga Mobo sind Titus Ackermann, Thomas Gronle und Jonas Greulich.
In Köln läuft noch bis zum 27. Oktober 2006 die Ausstellung "KUGELBLITZ - EINE DEUTSCH-JAPANISCHE COMICAUSSTELLUNG" im japanischen Kulturinstitut.

Die neue Ausgabe des Visual X Magazin ist ab dem 18. September 2006 am Kiosk erhältlich! Nach der Preview meiner Artikel muss ich mit Freude feststellen, dass das Layout deutlich visuell ansprechender geworden ist :)

The new issue reviews the film "The Science of Sleep". This months photos were made by Marco Schmitutz from Austria and Eric Antoine from France. In our illustration department we feature Fiodor Sumkin from the Netherlands.

A new born baby - LOW Ausgabe Nr. 1 ist da!

"Es sind einige Monate ins Land gegangen, seit wir den Beschluß fassten ein eigenes Kunst-Magazin zu veröffentlichen. Vielleicht war uns die Kunst-Situation im Land nicht ausreichend genug oder unsere Liebe zur Underground / Lowbrow-Kunst zu hoch oder es schien uns einfach zu mühseelig das "Juxtapoz" jeden Monat aus Amerika zu besorgen, so daß was eigenes her mußte. Irgendeinen Grund wird es schon gehabt haben, daß wir im Mini-Team ein komplettes Magazin auf die Beine stellen wollten. Nach einigen Durststrecken, aber auch Erfolgserlebnissen ist es nun endlich vollbracht: Die Ausgabe Nummer 1 des LOW kam letzte Woche aus der Druckerei und ist ab sofort erhältlich.
Wir sind stolz, Euch 72 dicke Seiten präsentieren zu können, mit einigen der tollsten Künstler unserer Zeit: Tara McPherson, Aaron Horkey (Burlesque Of North America), Wolfgang Sangmeister, Jason Munn (The Small Stakes), Jay Ryan, Nadja Poppe, Moritz R und Shag. Dazu einiges an News und Ausstellungs-Vorschauen. Ein buntes Potporie des Lowbrow und der Rock Art.
Ab jetzt gibt es Low in unserem Shop zu kaufen.
