“The four pillars - free time, felt slippers, beer, and television - never enter the picture for me,” says stunt driver Pit Lengner. Pit is close to 60, but has as good an engine as any, which has earned him in turn the name “Kamikaze Pit”. Young as long as I run - “Young Until I Die”.

Oliver Wagner and Dirk “The Pixeleye” Behlau have frequently worked together for various music- and scene-magazines, and have now joined forces to put together their first book. “Young Until I Die” presents striking biographies alongside gripping photos. It tells the story of people who could not be more different from one another: from Rock 'n' Rollers to professional skaters, from stuntmen to pimps, from hooligans to candidates for the Nobel peace prize. And yet they all have one thing in common: They're over 50 and push through their lifestyles without batting an eye.

It's a book about dynamic characters - crazy old dogs - although they probably wouldn't see themselves that way. And because of their age, most of them only remain to stand somewhere on a useless piece of paper. You may not like each of them at first glance. Dirk Behlau, aka „The Pixeleye“, born in 1971, is a professional designer and photographer from Cologne/Germany. Since 1999, he creates individual high-class solutions for international customers in his design-studios „Pixeleye Interactive“.

He prefers shooting „Kool Lifestyle“: american cars from the 30´s till 70´s, classic glamorous pin-ups, rockstars and uncommon people with attitude. He works worldwide for international publications and trademarks.
