Clutch - Band Promo Photography (2013)

There's a nice little story behind the photos. I was booked by german Rock Hard Magazine to shoot the Clutch show in Cologne/Germany and take some shots of the band in the afternoon. We met up at Santa Sangre Tattoo, the shop of my buddy Von Maze which is around the corner of the Luxor venue, took some portraits in the shop and then just walked over the road outside for some group shots, all windy and rainy. All in all it took just 10 minutes or less. The band liked my shots so much that they licensend them as their new official promo photos for worldwide usage.
Clutch is an American rock band from Germantown, Maryland, formed in 1990. Since its formation the band line-up has included Neil Fallon (vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards), Tim Sult (lead guitar, backing vocals), Dan Maines (bass, backing vocals) and Jean-Paul Gaster (drums and percussion). To date, Clutch has released nine studio albums, and several rarities and live albums.
