Since 2003 every year the Airport "Schwarze Heide" in Bottrop turns into one of the biggest Kustom Kulture Shows in Europe. Car Clubs & Lone Wolfs from all over Europe come to show their Hot Rods, Kustom Cars and Cool Motorbikes!
We have around 250 pre 1965 hot rods and kustom cars and 100 bad ass bikes. And they don´t only show them standing around! They will be racing their machines in 2011, too on the vintage 1/8 mile race on the airport. The Kustom Kulture Show in Bottrop is not only famous for the Hot Rods, Kustom Cars and bikes - it´s famous because of the really large group of over 30 Kustom Kulture artist from all over the world. Dont miss it, its the only one in Europe where all this shit comes together - and we have the best party peoples around!

The Scary Guy legally changed his name from Earl Kenneth Kaufmann in 1998 to The Scary Guy and now focuses on teaching children and adults love and acceptance of all people. His mission is to eliminate hate, violence and prejudice worldwide. His audiences consist of both youth and adults, within schools and corporations worldwide. Holland rokkken?

Vor ein paar Wochen bin ich irgendwie auf die Aktion von holland.com aufmerksam geworden. Hier werden bloggende Familien gesucht, die abseits der typischen Klischees einen Urlaub in Holland verbringen und darüber in ihrem Blog berichten.
Als alter Holland Lunatic (ja, auch meine Eltern fahren seit über 35 Jahren schön brav jedes Jahr nach Cadzand-Bad ans Meer und ich war - anfangs unfreiwillig, später durchaus freiwillig - unzählige Male bereits in der Region) und da ich seit 8 Jahre hier blogge, hab ich mich einfach mal beworben.
Urlaubsreif bin ich immer und warum nicht mal für umme mit Kind und Kegel nach Holland gondeln? Eben. Mal abwarten was bei der Aktion rauskommt. Wir wären jedenfalls nicht die typische Klischeefamilie... wahrscheinlich weisen sie uns direkt wieder aus ;)
Das Auswahlverfahren läuft wohl schon, ob wir genommen werden, wird dann hier in den Tagen oder Wochen bekanntgegeben...
