Sunn 0))) Drone Doom

Sunn O))) (gesprochen: sʌn) ist eine US-amerikanische Drone-Doom-Band. Die von Sunn O))) gespielte Musikart ist Drone Doom, welche einerseits als Essenz des Doom Metal gesehen wird und andererseits eher als eine Abwandlung des Ambient betrachtet wird. Langdauernd aufgebaute Stücke, deren aufgebrochene Takte von tief brummenden Klängen (daher der Name Drone Doom) gefüllt sind, entfalten ihre Wirkung auf atmosphärischer Ebene.
Der getippte Name der Gruppe geht auf ihr Logo zurück, das Wellen, die von einem Zentrum (Sunn) ausgehen, darstellen soll. Der Bandname ist auf den Verstärkerhersteller Sunn zurückzuführen, der in diesem Musikgenre weit verbreitet ist.

These Boots tells "the Finnish history from 1952 to 1969" and begins with the birth of the main character (Mato Valtonen). This combination of a short film and a music video goes through the most important events of the main character's life: from his school years to marriage, from the daily grind of working life to the routines of farming and his father's death, ending melancholically in a scene where the main character gives up farming as it no longer provides a living. Members of Leningrad Cowboys play important supporting roles in the scenes that depict these events.

Das zweite I SOLD MY SOUL FOR ROCK‘N‘ROLL Festival findet dieses Jahr im Oktober statt, da der SATANIC STOMP an Ostern seinen Platz gefunden hat. Das Lineup verspricht einen guten Mix aus harten Klängen, purem Rock‘n‘Roll und viel Spektakel.
Viele internationale Top Acts lassen keine Wünsche offen, manche davon sind exklusiv nur bei uns zu sehen. Die ersten 500 Tickets nehmen an der Verlosung Teil, bei der es zwei Gitarren im Festival-Design zu gewinnen gibt. Neben den Hammerbands gibt es außerdem eine Einkaufsmeile mit Klamotten und Merchandise von Tombstone Records, Timeless, Drunkabilly Records und Killerkirsche.
Also nichts wie ran an die Buletten und krachen lassen, getreu unserem Motto:

Zwei Mechaniker-Teams tunen fünf Wochen lang ein SHIFT- und ein NITRO-Auto – und das unter den ständigen Blicken der Öffentlichkeit. Rund um die Uhr könnt Ihr hier den Battle miterleben und per Voting abstimmen, wie die Wagen aufgebaut werden. Zwei Autos, zwei Teams – ein Battle. Wer holt den Sieg?
Der Ort des Battles: Eine Doppelgarage im Herzen Berlins. Adresse: Streng geheim! Beide Teams haben das gleiche Budget, ein unterschiedliches Konzept, aber ein gemeinsames Ziel: Den besseren Wagen zu bauen, um am Ende den „Battle“ zu gewinnen.
