As the world remembers the dawn of the Space Age in 2007 and the golden anniversary of NASA in 2008, the historic legacy of the agency is captured in a new photo book, America in Space, published by Harry N. Abrams, Inc., New York.
The book uses nearly 500 stunning photographs to tell the agency's story, from the drama of lift-off, to tension in mission control, to the humor and humanity portrayed in the faces of astronauts, scientists, engineers, and political leaders.
Published in cooperation with NASA, the book features a foreword by Apollo 11 commander Neil Armstrong.

25 Jahre BMX im Kölner Jugendpark – das muss gefeiert werden! Was wäre gebührender zu diesem historischen Jubiläum, als eine Weltmeisterschaft? Daher finden vom 10. bis 12. Juli 2009 die BMX Worlds in Köln statt!
Passend zur weltweit einzigartigen 25-jährigen BMX-Contestserie im Kölner Jugendpark wird nach 1994, 1996, 2000, 2002 und 2004 zum sechsten Mal eine Freestyle BMX Weltmeisterschaft in Köln stattfinden.
Vom 10. bis 12. Juli 2009 werden in Köln die offiziellen BMX Freestyle Weltmeisterschaften der iBMXFF (international BMX Freestyle Federation) ausgetragen, die BMX Worlds. 4 years ago the graffiti artist, social vandal, prankster, and legendary art terrorist, Banksy, had his face revealed to the world by a Jamaican photographer, Peter Rickards.
Now Rickards has unearthed one of the only pieces of street art that Banksy had left in Jamaica. A wall Tagged with his signature of his a girl with balloons and his tag Banksy in stencil form.

Die europäische Erstveröffentlichung des legendären, 1995 gedrehten Dokumentarfilms von Frank Pavich über die New Yorker Hardcore-Szene als Doppel-DVD-Edition mit umfangreichem Bonusmaterial und über 8 Stunden Spielzeit erscheint auf Sunny Bastards. Lange bevor Bands wie AGNOSTIC FRONT, SICK OF IT ALL oder MADBALL international ausverkaufte Tourneen vor frenetisch feierndem Publikum spielten und N.Y.H.C.
