Image Fulgurator: Aparat zur minimal-invasiven Manipulation von Fotographien.

Der Image Fulgurator ist ein Gerät zur physischen Manipulation von Fotografien.
Die Intervention findet statt, während das Foto belichtet wird, ohne dass der Fotograf davon etwas bemerken kann. Die Veränderung wird für ihn erst im Nachhinein auf dem Foto sichtbar. Solange ein Blitz verwendet wird, ist das Prinzip auf jede Kamera oder Umgebung anwendbar.
Jedes Fotos, beliebiger Fotografen, das von dem Objekt, auf das der Fulgurator gerichtet ist, aufgenommen wird, ist von der Manipulation betroffen. Dadurch lassen sich unbemerkt visuelle Informationen in die Bilder anderer einschleusen.
Der Fulgurator arbeitet mit einer Art Rückkoppelungs-Blitzprojektion, mit der es möglich ist, ein Bild auf ein Objekt zu projizieren, exakt zur gleichen Zeit, zu der das Objekt von jemand anderem fotografiert wird. Dieser Eingriff ist sehr unauffällig, da er innerhalb weniger Millisekunden stattfindet.
